Mike Nolan - Past President

I am a lifelong Jersey Shore resident who grew up in Manasquan Park section of Wall Township along the Manasquan River in surroundings similar to Cedarcroft. I hold a B.S. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and am currently employed by iconectiv as Sr. Director Global Program Management. I have a diverse business experience gained over the last 30 +years working for leading organizations such as Joseph E. Seagram and Sons, CIGNA International P&C, Telcordia Technologies, JDSU and Aricent Group. I am also a former volunteer firefighter with South Wall Fire & Rescue (SWFR) in Wall Township, as well as Past President of SWFR and NY Society of Fire Protection Engineers.

Married to Jennifer (Jen) and moved to 12 North Cherokee Lane in 1993. We have four children: Ian, Shane, Hunter and Michaela. Jen retired from Point Pleasant Memorial Middle School after 33 years teaching Special Education and also a lifelong Jersey Shore resident. Originally, appointed to the Board of Directors by Bob Byrnes (former President) as an Advisor in 2007. I was elected to the Board in 2008 and have served as Environmental Director (2008) and was Treasurer for three years (2009-2011). Elected to President in 2012 and now start my sixth year leading the organization as President. Since joining the Board I have worked hard to, expand membership, activities, upgrade facilities and provide full transparency/analysis in all financial matters.

I have lead major bulkhead/walkway replacement projects in 2008, 2011, 2015 and 2018 as well as supporting significant maintenance projects at our Clubhouse facilities including landscaping, hardscaping, window replacement and more.

My goals for Cedarcroft Club are to continue to expand membership by drawing new residents, continuing to upgrade our marina and club facilities and host social events that bring a sense of community.
